For his country, he plays in midfield, where he’s expected to start with Heorhiy Sudakov and Taras Stepanenko. Sudakov, only 21, had an excellent season with Shakhtar Donetsk and is a candidate to win the UEFA Best Young Player Award.
Along with Zinchenko, Stepanenko, Sudakov, Vitaliy Mykolenko, Mykhailo Mudryk, Andriy Yarmolenko have had some recent fitness/injury concerns. Still, they should be ready to play on Monday as Ukraine look to grab three points. Ukraine’s odds to win Group E are currently +550.
