The Big 12 Conference will have a new look in 2024. Utah, Arizona, Arizona State and Colorado all move over from the Pac-12 Conference. There are now 16 teams in the conference.

2024 Big 12 Win Totals
Utah Utes: 9.5 (Over -125)
The Utes are the favorite coming out of the gate, with quarterback Cam Rising back for another season. Utah will be playing some new faces, but also has college football games against the other Pac 12 refugees on the slate. A 10-win season is possible, but there’s little room for error.
Kansas State Wildcats: 9.5 (Over +125)
The Kansas State Wildcats are expected to do best among the returning teams. A lot is expected from starting quarterback Avery Johnson, and he has talent. Ten wins might be asking for a bit much, but Kansas State will be close. The Wildcats should be battling Utah in the college football standings.
Kansas Jayhawks: 8 (Over -125)
Jalon Daniels will be the key to Kansas’ success in 2024, as the oft-injured quarterback is back for another year. When he’s healthy, he’s amazing. The Kansas Jayhawks will be playing home games at Arrowhead Stadium and Children’s Mercy Park while their stadium gets a makeover.
Their NCAAF schedule will have two non-conference games at Children’s Mercy Park. Big 12 games will be at Arrowhead.
Arizona Wildcats: 8 (Over -105)
The 2024 Big 12 win totals on Arizona might be a shade high, with the under looking like a better play than the over. Coach Jedd Fisch moved to Washington, but quarterback Noah Fifita returns and he’s a good one.
Texas Tech Red Raiders: 7.5 (Over -130)
The NCAAF scores should be going in Texas Tech’s favor early in the season, although things get tougher as the season moves on. The Red Raiders should be fighting for eight wins at minimum and looks doable.
 Oklahoma State Cowboys: 7.5 (Over -135)
The 2024 Big 12 win totals on the Oklahoma State Cowboys seem a bit on the low side. A number of 8 or even 8.5 seems like it would fit better here. You have to play the over as one of the top plays from the Big 12.
Iowa State Cyclones: 7.5 (Over -105)
The Cyclones appear to be one of those NCAAF teams who will be right up there with seven or eight wins. That makes this a bit tough to play. The Cyclones have some talent and should make a bowl game, although eight wins will be a bit tough.
UCF Knights: 7.5 (Over -115)
Central Florida took its lumps against the Big 12 last season and lost a few games it should have won. The UCF Knights will have to change those types of games into wins if they want to go over the 7.5 here.
TCU Horned Frogs: 7.5 (Over +110)
The Horned Frogs are coming off a huge disappointment in 2023, but have the talent to turn things around this college football season. TCU is another team that looks to be on the cusp of seven or eight wins, making the 7.5 a tough number to bet into.
West Virginia Mountaineers: 6.5 (Over -120)
The 2024 Big 12 win totals on West Virginia are a shade low, as this one probably should be a 7. That means there’s a little bit of value on the Mountaineers to land over the number.
Colorado Buffaloes: 5.5 (Over -120)
Coach Prime did a decent job with the Buffaloes and they should show a bit more improvement in 2024. Whether or not it’s enough to get into a college bowl game is the question. The number is tough, although the under offers a little more value than the over.
Baylor Bears: 5.5 (Over +135)
It’s hard to imagine a scenario in which the Bears qualify for a bowl game this season. The odds are pretty steep on the under 5.5, however, so this one is tough to pull the trigger on.
Cincinnati Bearcats: 5 (Over -120)
The 2024 Big 12 win totals offer a little bit of value on the under 5 for the Bearcats. Cincinnati would need to win six games for you to lose an under wager and the NCAAF odds don’t look very good of that happening.
Arizona State Sun Devils: 4.5 (Over +110)
The Sun Devils should be a slightly better football team than last season, but probably not good enough to win five games. Four wins is probably the upper limit on victories for Arizona State.
BYU Cougars: 4.5 (Over -105)
It seems odd to see BYU have such a low win total, but the number is where it should be. The BYU Cougars are needing some time to adjust to the Big 12. BYU should fare better than last year’s two conference wins, but not by much.
Houston Cougars: 3.5 (Over -130)
The 2024 Big 12 win totals have Houston with the lowest number of any team in the conference. The Houston Cougars are unlikely to get to a bowl game, but four wins is a possibility.
