Let’s dive into the 2024 Davante Adams Season Odds and see what we can find to make some NFL predictions.

Career So Far

Davante Adams has been a beast for his entire NFL career. Although he is unlikely to break any NFL records this year, he is still as dangerous as ever as an offensive weapon. Across his career, Adams has amassed impressive stats: 872 receptions for 10,781 yards and a hefty 95 touchdowns. His sure hands and route-running prowess earned him six Pro Bowl selections. In 2022, he joined the Raiders, setting the franchise record for receiving yards in a season (1,516) in his first year.

While not reaching the Super Bowl yet, Adams remains a dominant force. He recently achieved the milestone of 10,000 receiving yards in the 2023 season, solidifying his place among the NFL’s elite wide receivers.

In his first season as a Raider, he grabbed 100 receptions, 1,516 yards, and 14 touchdowns. In his second season, he caught 103 catches for 1,144 yards and eight touchdowns. In his ten-year career, Adams has eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark five times. In his last six seasons, he has eclipsed it five times, only falling below that line by three yards in 2019.

Adams also has been a touchdown-catching machine his whole career. He averages 9.5 touchdowns per season in his career and has grabbed double digit touchdowns in all but four seasons of his career. Since 2015 he has only gone under his current season line of 7.5 touchdowns once.

Quarterback Questions

Davante Adams enters the 2024 season with a quarterback competition brewing in Las Vegas.

Last year’s starter, Aidan O’Connell, impressed after taking over mid-season. He led the Raiders to five wins and put up solid numbers for a rookie, including over 2,200 yards and 12 touchdowns.

O’Connell is known for his willingness to learn and improve. This offseason, the Raiders brought in veteran Gardner Minshew to challenge O’Connell for the starting role. While they have different styles, both QBs have experience stepping up when needed.

Gardner Minshew brings veteran experience to the Las Vegas Raiders’ quarterback competition. Over his six-year career with the Jaguars, Eagles, and Colts, Minshew has thrown for nearly 10,000 yards and boasts a 62% completion rate. He’s shown a knack for finding the endzone with 59 touchdowns to his name. While his stats might not jump off the page, Minshew’s mobility and ability to extend plays could offer a different dimension to the Raiders’ offense.

Adams will likely benefit from this competition, with both players vying to earn his trust and put him in a position to succeed. If O’Connell and Adams continue to build chemistry, and O’Connell takes a big step forward as a passer this season there is no telling what their ceiling together is. That being said, O’Connell is still quite inexperienced and this will certainly affect Adams’s ability to reach the same big numbers we are used to him putting up.

Adams Can Go Over

The 2024 Davante Adams Season Odds seem low to us. Adams has gone over the 1000.5 receiving yards and 7.5 touchdown lines all but once in his last five seasons. Although the line for his touchdowns has shifted up by a whole touchdown, we still think both the overs for Adams are solid bets. He will get plenty of opportunities to catch the ball in a Raiders offense that has plenty of upside.
