Mirra, Mirra on the Wall: Andreeva’s the Best of Them All

2024 Bad Homburg Open Odds

The next grass tennis tournament to play is the Bad Homburg Open, and we fancy Russian sensation Mirra Andreeva to win.

2024 Bad Homburg Open odds have an even betting market available, with the likes of Markéta Šimková, Maria Sakkari, Elina Svitolina, and former champion Angelique Kerber.

It’s a good lead-in tournament on the tennis schedule for Wimbledon and Iga Swiatek comes in at +350, Aryna Sabalenka comes in with +275 odds, followed by Elena Rybakina  at +450. You can count on plenty of interest.

Skies the Limit for Andreeva

The 17-year-old made the semifinals at Roland Garros when losing to Jasmine Paolini in straight sets.

It was a tough loss to take, as she was the betting favorite. However, making a grand slam semifinal is a positive.

The Russian is rising the ranks, and although she has yet to win a WTA title, this could be her first.

She likes to play her own style, which is a good way to go about playing tennis.

“I do whatever I want, and maybe this helps me when I play. But I have a lot of decisions in my mind. When I change them in the last moment, some kind of crap always happens,” Andreeva said.

As the 2024 Bad Homburg Open odds suggest, it’s only a matter of time before she wins a WTA tournament, having posted six ITF titles.

Her best form has come at the grand slam level, including making the fourth round of the 2023 Wimbledon, and currently sits at +2000 for this year’s Wimbledon.

She loves playing on grass courts, and we see no reason to not include her in tennis picks today.

Vondrousova Gets the Czech Mark

24-year-old Vondrousova is the defending Wimbledon champion, and although she pulled out of WTA Berlin with an injury, she could be back to her best.

The Czech player slipped and fell in the first set against Anna Kalinskaya, hurting her hip. However, we expect her to be in the tournament, and she will be tough to beat if she’s anywhere near her best.

She is a proven winner on grass courts, as her win at Wimbledon suggests, and because of the injury, she might use the Bad Homburg Open as a tester tournament.

She is high up on the WTA leaderboard, and that should be reflected in tennis betting markets.

We expect her to progress to the later stages of the tournament in Germany.

Don’t Forget About Svitolina

Winning hasn’t come easily for Elena Svitolina, who spent time off the courts due to having a baby.

We haven’t seen many mothers return to the courts to win, including Serena Williams and Naomi Osaka, who have yet to win a tournament since giving birth.

It’s an incredible statistic, one that Svitolina is hoping to end. She is good enough to beat this field, and bettors get a value price with 2024 Bad Homburg Open odds.

The 29-year-old was beaten in the fourth round at the French Open by Elena Rybakina, who is a tough opponent, so the loss was expected.

The 17-time WTA winner has class on her side, and she made the Wimbledon semifinals last year. That’s an excellent form guide, and handling grass courts is half the battle.

There are things going against her, but Svitolina can’t be forgotten about. The talent is there, and the world’s best players aren’t in Germany for this tournament.

Familiar Sight for Kerber

Kerber knows what it takes to win this tournament, and she could turn her form around on a similar court.

The 36-year-old lost in the Round of 32 in Berlin, but she’s a three-time grand slam champion, and we’re not leaving her out.

Her best days might be behind her, but we like that she’s still out there playing and trying to make her way back to the top.

She won Wimbledon in 2018, and her best career results have come on grass. She also made the final in 2016, and she made the third round in 2022.

The German defeated Serena Williams in the final to win two of her three grand slam titles, so she knows what it takes.

The local will have crowd support, so include her at generous odds.
