WWE: 2024 Women’s Money in the Bank Odds Preview

Tiffany Stratton -110 Fave to Win the MITB Contract, Stark Worth a Look.

The 15th annual Money In The Bank Promotion takes the top spot in WWE news, emanating from Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada starting at 6:30 p.m. EST/3:30 p.m. PST Saturday on the Peacock Network. The main card will begin at 7:00 p.m. EST / 4:00 p.m. PST.

This will be the first MITB event held in Canada and the second straight outside the United States. The winner of the MITB ladder match will have one year to cash in their championship contract on the current champion at any time. This year’s MITB features Tiffany Stratton (-110), Chelsea Green (+300), Naomi (+500), Iyo Sky (+500), Lyra Valkyria (+600), and Zoey Stark (+1800).

Let’s analyze who we think are the top three contenders for the 2024 Women’s Money In The Bank contract.

Favorite: Tiffany Stratton Is An Overwhelming Favorite at -110

Tiffany Stratton made her WWE NXT debut in November of 2021 and since has slowly climbed to the top of the WWE ladder, pun intended. She made her main roster debut on February 2nd, 2024 after winning the NXT Women’s Championship in May 2023.

To say she has paid her dues is an understatement and now she is a massive favorite to take one step closer to a WWE Women’s Title. Stratton qualified for the match after defeating Candice LaRae and Jade Cargill in a Triple Threat Match on Smackdown, a result that anyone could see coming a mile away.

The victory was tarnished some after interference from Queen of the Ring, Nia Jax, and Indie Hartwell. From a business standpoint, there is no doubt that the WWE will put Stratton on top at some point and this seems like the perfect time because the promotion has used this event to create a new women’s star as they did last year with IYO Sky.

However, you have to think of what storyline would be the most intriguing moving forward against the current champion Bayley and that’s why no matter how much we anticipate Stratton being the champion one day, what a promotion it would be to watch someone like Chelsea Green walk around the briefcase for awhile.

Co-Favorite: Chelsea Green +300 Talks Her Way Into Contention

In the WWE you have to have a few things to be a star and Chelsea Green has them all. Green’s athletic ability, mic skills, and likeability have the former Tough Enough contender in position for a long run at the top at some point.

It’s been almost six years since Green started at the WWE Performance Center and four since her Smackdown debut in November 2020.

She has paid her dues overcoming wrist surgery in her first TV match on March 14th, 2020 as part of the NXT brand, being released from WWE in 2021, and fighting her way back up to the big stage with stops in TNA, Ring of Honor, and Lucha Underground.

In January of 2023, she made her surprise return to WWE’s Smackdown but later in the show announced she would be leaving for RAW but still made appearances on NXT. The point is, that fans want a champion that has overcome struggles to get to their current level or the one the company wants them at.

That’s why it took years for fans to accept Roman Reigns with the thought that he was getting pushed because of his looks and not his ability which needed refining both on and away from the mic.

WWE odds have Green as a second choice at +300 to win the women’s money in the Bank, something many in the industry think will happen this weekend.

Long-Shot  Zoey Stark (+1800) Is Our Selection

At +1800, Zoey Stark winning the MITB is a long shot but we don’t think that will last for long, and with the odds being what they are perhaps they could sneak her in creating another star while Stratton and Green have a side feud.

Stark is billed from Las Vegas, even though she was born in Salt Lake City, is a gamble worth taking because it’s clear that she has the three qualities that will take her to the top of the main roster. What makes for a good storyline and possible wager is she was the last qualifier into the match, winning a triple-threat match against Dakota Kai and Ivy Nile.

The WWE has toyed with Stark and the title before at the 2023 Crown Jewel and singles match against Rhea Ripley a month later. This shows WWE continuing to have interest in Stark becoming a champion at some point if she progresses as a single competitor and in their eyes perhaps she has already.

We don’t know how compelling a Stark / Bayley run would be right now but at +1800, Stark is worth a shot to win the Women’s Money in the Bank.

At some books there is a list of competitors outside the six officially in the match, a win by anyone in the field would certainly make entertainment news but is unlikely to happen unless there is an injury or twist, so focus on the six ladies in the match when placing your wager.
